As a community broadcaster 96three FM is always on the look out for volunteers, being a volunteer at 96three FM can be very rewarding.
There are many ways of being involved in 96three FM, some of the areas you may be interested in being involved are:
96three FM has positions available for volunteer presenters to host the types of program you hear on this station. As training will be provided experience is not essential but is helpful. This is your opportunity to be involved. Please contact Peter McCoy on 5241 6550 or email email@example.com to arrange an audition and to receive a volunteer application form. You will need to have a voice test at the 96three FM studio which is located in Grovedale, Geelong.
If you can spare a morning or afternoon, on a weekly basis, to help with answering the phone, general reception work and basic office tasks including letter writing on a computer; we would like to hear from you. The current opportunities to serve are on a Tuesday or a Friday, both morning and afternoon.
“Thrive” Quarterly mail-out: 96three FM needs volunteers to help with the quarterly mailout of our Newsletter and Daily Devotional -“Thrive”. If you are able to give 1 day every 3 months (January, April, July and October), to assist in this ministry we would love to hear from you. Call 96three FM during office hours.
COMMUNITY CONTACT PERSON
96three FM has a position for a volunteer to be our “Community Contact”, organising church presentations, community events and outside broadcasts for example. You are only limited by your imagination!
MUSIC REVIEW TEAM
Put your name forward to be involved in 96three FM’s volunteer Music Review Team.
Preparing the teaching programs for broadcast each week is another way to volunteer at 96three.
