All requests for Community File Announcements must be provided in writing and must include all contact details of the community group making the request along with the name of an authorised contact person.

Requests for a Community file Announcement must be received at least three weeks prior to the event by emailing listen@96three.com.au

96three reserves the right to amend, add to or alter its policies or provisions pertaining to Community File Announcements at any time and without notice or advice. 96three also reserves the right to delete, cancel or void any Community File Announcement.

April 16 – Come Alive Hobsons Bay

‘Come Alive’ on Resurrection Sunday, 16th April 2017 this Easter with Hobsons Bay Combined Churches.  It will be a day for all the family with plenty of opportunities for worship.

Starting at  6:30am with a Dawn Service at Timeball Tower, Williamstown, and followed at 10am with  Family Service and Communion in Logan Reserve, Altona.

Sea Baptisms at 11:30am at Altona Pier, will be followed by a FREE Community BBQ and family fun for everyone. Please bring a rug or a chair.

Come along and join the fun at the Easter Carnival, there will be free kid’s activities, amusements, entertainment and local market stalls and a food truck park. It is a family friendly event and all proceeds will be donated to #ProjectLove, a Barwon Health Fundraising Initiative.

April 23 – CAP Budgeting Course

CAP Money is a FREE budgeting course that makes managing your money simple! CAP Money teaches people – from all walks of life – how to create a budget and prevent bad debt. Usually run over three sessions, this practical workshop provides people with the skills they need to manage their finances and prevent debt.

The course will be hosted at Waterfront Christian Church (35 Corio Street, Geelong, 3220) across 3 weekends starting  Sunday April 23rd, April 30th and May 7th from 1:00pm-3:30pm.

Mission To Seafarers Geelong

Mission To Seafarers serve the men and women who bring  goods to and from Australia, sometimes in harsh and dangerous conditions.

Volunteers are needed to drive the minibus or help operate the shop at the centre located in North Shore, Geelong. The centre operates seven days a week from 10am – 10pm. If you would like to be a volunteer and give of a few hours on a weekly or monthly basis, or find out more information, call the Chaplain, Noah Park on 0412 779 306.

Sight Magazine Christian Heritage Walks around Melbourne & Geelong

Join Sight Magazine’s editor David Adams for a two hour walk around Melbourne’s CBD looking at some of the city’s Christian heritage. See magnificent churches, significant bronze statues and historical sites with interesting information provided as you walk. He also walks around the Geelong CBD on the second Saturday of the month (other details are the same).

Geelong Crochet for Cancer gives handmade crocheted or knitted items to local patients to uplift spirits and share Christ’s love.

The Recovery Course Corio

The Recovery Course is open to anyone struggling with any sort of addiction or any compulsive behavior that is spoiling one’s life. The course is a good starter for those completely new to recovery as well as those whom have been in recovery for years, but who would like to take a fresh look at the steps from a Christian perspective. The course runs weekly for 16 weeks.
