What is 96three FM?
96three FM is an incorporated, non-profit, non-denominational Christian community radio station that broadcasts a high-powered signal, enabling the station to cover a large potential audience which includes the City of Greater Geelong, the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula, regions extending to Colac, Ballarat and Bendigo, and of course, much of Melbourne.
96three FM is governed by a Board of Directors, and has a staff of approximately 20, both paid and volunteer, who undertake the daily task of broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
From the beginning, our mission has been to “broadcast the reality of Jesus Christ”. through a well-balanced blend of teaching programs and 100% Christian music.
96three FM seeks to ‘change lives’ by broadcasting hope and encouragement to our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Radio knows no boundaries. It enters prisons, hospitals, cars, homes and wherever human needs are present. We seek to provide a station that positively reinforces individual worth and builds up the family unit based on sound moral and Biblical guidelines.
