From Weakness to Strength

California wilderness walk

By: Steve Grace

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:29-31

It is reassuring to know that in those times when we struggle to see the way ahead, God is there. When we are uncertain of the future or unsure of our plans…. He is there to make a way. The simple key is submission to His loving grace and a willingness to wait on Him. I’ve often heard God’s voice louder in times of solitude than being surrounded by thousands of people at some large church or big conference. Yes… There are times to be motivated and inspired by large gatherings of believers… but I honestly believe its your daily walk with God, your time reading His word and praying that renews your strength and empowers you for the work ahead.

In the manic chaos of the modern day world we live in.. take time to be. Take time to belong. Take time to become who you are in Christ. Let Him be your strength.

Godspeed.
