A 96three ‘Faith In Action’ Community Project

From June 1st to July 12th , 96three is collecting blankets to help bring warmth, comfort and hope to people in our wide community who are sleeping rough or doing it tough this winter.

Over the years this community initiative has been known as the G-Wrap, Wrap Geelong and Blanket Geelong. Now in 2026, it continues as ‘The Big Warm Up’, expanding beyond Geelong into Wyndham in partnership with Harvest Reformed Church, Werribee.

YOU are invited to donate new or ‘as new’ clean single and double bed blankets that can make a real difference during the coldest months of the year.

Donations can be dropped off between 9am–3pm at 2 locations

1.  96three Studios
15/147 Marshalltown Road, Grovedale

or

2.  Wyndham Park Community Centre
55/57 Kookaburra Ave, Werribee VIC 3030

All blankets will be distributed through The Outpost in Geelong and Wyndham Park Community Centre to support people in need across our broadcast community.

YOU, the 96three-Family  … Helping People, Help People! 🤗

Together, let’s put faith into action and bring warmth to our community this winter.

What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no works?  …. genuine faith produces good works.  If a brother or sister is without clothing and lacks food for each day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do?   So too, faith, if it does not have works is by itself dead.” – James 2:14-17

Along with physical warmth,  we pray for each person new or renewed experience of Jesus and God’s warmth and protection, as highlighted in Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His wings. And under His wings you will be safe. He is faithful like a safe-covering and a strong wall.

Thank you for being a community where Faith has Action!
