September – Indi Leigh Counselling and Research

Indi Leigh, a 3rd year Christian counselling student, who is ACA level 1 registered and insured counsellor, is looking to further her experience over the next few weeks and is looking for a few people who either need counselling or are willing to be clients for her, at no charge. Counselling is available for any issues, for clients of any background.

She is also offering  6 people who have anxiety and are over 18, the opportunity to participate in research to see whether spending time, 30-60min weekly, with goats or sheep will reduces anxiety. It will be conducted in Geelong and is free to participate. Starting mid September, you need to sign up asap, applications are now open. Participants will get to pat and brush animals and spend time with them. Conditions apply.

Pipeline Ministries is a Not for Profit Organization that has been helping support people in the Philippines since it was founded in 1990.  At the moment they are trying to raise funds to build an orphanage. They also organize short term mission trips where you can go and help churches and schools in the Philippines.

Mission To Seafarers Geelong

Mission To Seafarers serve the men and women who bring  goods to and from Australia, sometimes in harsh and dangerous conditions.

Volunteers are needed to drive the minibus or help operate the shop at the centre located in North Shore, Geelong. The centre operates seven days a week from 10am – 10pm.
