An effective, engaging program proposal needs to be well thought through and should complement existing programming NOT duplicate them! The proposal also needs to address programming elements such as objectives, resourcing and compatibility with 96three’s format, Vision, Mission and Values.

Our extremely high levels of listener engagement are built on Christian music artists and strong biblical teaching content based on the major understandings of Christian thought and teaching – focusing on those matters which unite.

Program Proposal Guidelines

96three is an incorporated, not for profit, non-denominational community radio station whose community of interest is Christian.  The station is governed by a Board of Directors, with the Chief Executive Officer being responsible for the day-to-day operations.

All program submissions must conform to the requirements of The Australian Communication and Media Authority (The ACMA) the Community Radio Codes of Practice, and 96three’s policies and procedures.

Proposals must include audio samples of the program or segment concept, as well as the presenter[s] voice work.

96three FM encourages the production of the highest quality Australian content.

By submitting a proposal, you accept that ideas and concepts included in your proposal may, in part or whole, be present in existing or future 96three programming, and that you have no claim or entitlement in relation to that programming content. Proposals will be reviewed and considered by the Programming Committee and make recommendations to the PD/Content Director. The PD/Content Director will make the final decision. Incomplete proposals will be returned. If a proposal is declined, we will consider the matter closed.
